Frameworx Music residents Sander Young and Pieter Steijger follow up their recent impressive work with another solid banger: the brooding techno cut ‘Omnium’. Characterized by an intense thriving bass ‘Omnium’ releases a relentless dose of energy like a steamroller.

Cut #2 is the galloping conga rhythm ‘Calenda’. This one gives you little room for manoeuvre, with layers of rolling percussion, it’s a clear case of percussion in full swing. The result is a track that nestles comfortably somewhere between techno and tribal house, and one that will be best utilized as a building block for a set to ramp up another gear.

The Nederland’s is renowned for breeding quality producers and ‘Super DJs’, across genres. Received as a demo during our quest to find new and upcoming talent, SANDER YOUNG & PIETER STEIJGER are a Dutch duo searching for stardom, via a clean and percussive tech house sound, drawing influences from Detroit techno to Chicago house.Their first of two offerings, ‘Ca Va’ , uniquely combines rhythmic grooves and an imbedded stabbed vocal, with a deep rolling bassline, to great effect.

Up on remix duty is a familiar face on the Global Underground roster, Italian Alex Dolby. Taking a slightly tougher take on the original, Dolby opens the vibe up with an energetic, roller of a remix. Using the vocal to great effect and with a bassline screaming to be danced to, this track was built for the late night dance floors.

Sander Young & Pieter Steijger have signed their brand new EP to the well known record label Global Underground.
The label had a short break and is back with a lot of new music next summer. After releasing music from DJ’s like: Carl Cox, Danny Howels, Darren Emerson, Deep Dish, Dubfire, Felix The Housecat, John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Sasha and many more, it’s now time for the two Dutchies to expose their sound on the English recordlabel.
